Bent bolts made around your geometry
Specify the shape and dimensions that fit your assembly. Tuttle manufactures custom bent bolts and special wire forms, reviewing the bend geometry, material, threaded areas, and quantity together.
Custom U-bolts
Provide the inside width, leg lengths, bend shape or radius, rod diameter, and thread length on each leg. Identify whether dimensions are inside, outside, or measured to the centerline.
Custom J-bolts
Include the overall length, hook dimensions, bend details, and threaded length. A dimensioned drawing helps distinguish the required hook geometry from a general J shape.
Custom L-bolts
Specify both leg lengths, the bend angle or radius, thread size, and threaded length. State how each dimension is measured.
Materials and additional operations
Available materials include steel, stainless steel, and brass. Include the alloy or grade and any finish requirements. Discuss secondary operations when the part needs drilling, notching, or other work, or review spade bolts for a different end geometry.
